Friday 24th November
The National Hepatitis Symposium is renowned for its creative program and outstanding national speakers. We anticipate an audience of 30-50 health care providers (doctors, nurses), scientists, community advocates, and corrections officers. Included in the audience (as faculty) are Melbourne’s leading hepatologists, as well as several national and international speakers. The meeting focuses on hepatitis B, C and D, as well as addiction medicine and harm reduction, particularly focused for prison settings.
Saturday 25th November
The National Hepatitis Symposium is renowned for its creative program and outstanding national speakers. We anticipate an audience of 80-100 hepatology focused health care providers (hepatologists, gastroenterologists, gastroenterology advanced trainees, and hepatology nurses). Included in the audience (as faculty) are Melbourne’s leading hepatologists, as well as several national and international speakers. The meeting focuses on new treatment paradigms for hepatitis B and D, as well as the complex management of portal hypertension.
