Professor Deborah Williamson – Innovative approaches to the detection and control of infectious diseases

Abstract

Innovations in genomic technology and diagnostics are resulting in paradigm shifts in the way infectious diseases are detected. This talk will provide some key examples of how new technologies are being applied in the Australian setting.
