Evidence demonstrates that Youth and Community workers play a pivotal role in supporting young people’s sexual health and improving their health outcomes. We want to support the sector to enable staff to have the knowledge and confidence to start conversations with the young people they work with about their reproductive and sexual health.

This course is designed for youth and community workers, working with young people aged 12-25, who are at-risk or outside of a mainstream secondary school setting. The course is either delivered online or face-to-face. This is a great opportunity to network and meet other people from across the sector.

This course is delivered by experienced community educators who work with young people in educational settings.

This full-day course includes:

  • completion of an online learning module prior to the classroom session
  • participation in a virtual Zoom classroom or face-to-face onsite with a nurse educator
  • a downloadable certificate of completion at the end of the course.
  • all participants who have attended the classroom have access to further reading and resources for 6 months via our online learning platform.
